Our double room had convenient amenities like an iron, flat-screen TV, and a seating area.

The setting was tranquil, very close to the river. Had a work desk, multi-channel television, and a sitting area in my twin room. The personnel was attentive, and the hostess too...

We enjoyed our two-night stay with a room that had a bath, and having both an electric kettle and a refrigerator was a great convenience, especially because the airport was just 25 km away.

The location is excellent, near the river, and the room is comfortable with friendly staff.

Great location for outdoor activities like hiking, fishing, and cycling. The shared lounge was delightful, and the free WiFi was a bonus. Loved the barbecue and the university was just a short drive away.

Absolutely terrible that they didn't have a chocolate fountain in every room. It's a travesty.

The standout feature of this apartment was the fireplace. It added such a cozy and romantic ambiance, making it the perfect spot to unwind after a long day exploring the beautiful surroundings of Swanton Morley. Just imagine snuggling up by the fire with a good book and a hot cup of tea, pure bliss.

I stayed at this charming B&B for a couple of nights to celebrate a family member's birthday. The beautiful rooms and well-furnished bathrooms were a delight, but it was the warm and attentive staff that truly made our stay memorable. From the delicious breakfasts to arranging a special BBQ for the birthday celebration, they went above and beyond to ensure our enjoyment. The location by the river added to the idyllic atmosphere, and the house exuded character. I can't wait to return!

From the moment I arrived, I felt at ease and well taken care of. the host and breakfast staff were incredibly engaging, and their attentiveness made me feel like nothing would be too much trouble. the location of the B&B, situated by the river, added an extra touch of charm. the communal table during breakfast was a brilliant idea, encouraging guests to interact and making for a more enjoyable meal. my stay at Carrick's was a memorable and pleasant experience that I would highly recommend. Cons: Nothing, no complaints at all. 😊.

this was a small inconvenience and would not deter me from returning to this hotel in the future.
